It has high density and hardness, especially its mechanical properties such as bending strength and fracture toughness are higher than other non-metallic materials.In the mining industry, the handle of bulk material consume a huge amount of lining, the traditional lining is alumina ceramic or metal, however, due to the very high impact and abrasion, the lifetime of the lining is very short and the production line has to shutdown. Thanks to the good impact resistance and abrasion resistance , the ZTA can largely improve the lifetime and reduce the shutdown period of the mining, and the production cost will be much lower.
